A deeply incised, man induced braided channel system, the channels having been formed by simultaneous excavation along several different lines but generally along the course of Tambaroora Creek. The gentler sloping banks have been stabilised by native vegetation. In contrast, there are vertical sides with organ pipe formations which are the result of erosion. Evidence of tunnels and shafts, some collapsed, exist, in particular a Grand Arch approximately 5m in diameter.
