They certainly don’t have to worry about how much mail they can fit into this mailbox. It sure is a beauty, fabulous capture.

  • Thanks Noelene. Maybe they get lots of junk mail. lol.

now that’s a mailbox…love it…just lift and go…love the way it seems to be propped up on the back left leg…functional and practical…great shot..

  • Not just the mailboxes are innovative. But how to secure them there. Thanks heaps.

That’s a great find, Gail. Great capture. Love how the sun highlights the trees in the background.

  • Taken late afternoon with the low sun. Thanks Ray. Glad you like it.

Another fantastic find and shot Gail….
May have to start a group and call it mail boxes….LOL

  • Thanks John. There is a group called Snail Mail . I have put the mailboxes in there. They are still ‘awaiting approval’.

Brilliant colour and detail Gail. How many miles to you have to travel to find these beauties?

  • Surprisingly, not too much travel required. Thanks Claire.

The angle from which you took this picture was well thought about. You took into consideration the back ground in plush dark rich green grass, the blend of colors from the beautiful mailbox with the color of the fallen trees, the glare of the sun with the orange parts of the mailbox, you are highly smart with your view and I meant it in a very positive way. Again, I shall buy some tape and place it around my mouth so that I will shorten my words, hey, my fingers can still type though, LOL.

  • Thank you Oscar. I appreciate you comments very much.

brilliant and quite amazing. Does no-one have an oblong hole in their doors any more? LOL

  • No. We in the country have never done it that way (I don’t think). In the towns, the houses are built back from the footpath (around 20’-30’). They are fenced all around. So the postie won’t come in. Might be a ferocious dog there anyway. Out in the country areas (such as these mailboxes I have put up), It could be several miles to the homestead. Thanks Dave.
