Thanks heaps Alyssa. It was a good day for photographing. Cloud in the sky but good light. I liked the colours & depth it produced.
Stuart Chapman
Lovely reflections and the sky around the tree tops is superb, like the blues are being stretched out across the sky.
GailD replied
Thank you Stuart. There was just enough cloud in the sky to make it interesting.

Yep I couldn’t just leave it at that!
I went and wrote a poem to your picture [it’s called Ekphrasis apparently :O) I wrote a journal about it :O) ]
But it’s too long for in here – this is the first stanza:
Singing whistling ringing
cicadas dull your ears
The heat is so heavy your sinus doesn’t work
Exploding dust rocks crunch
with the grasses underfoot
And something small and slithery scurries away
You can read the rest here ~ fresh water ~
Thank you for the inspiration! :O)
