Old Milk Shed

One of my older ones re-done. This old building was not far from where I grew up. The dairy was not far from this & they would take the cream to this shed where they had a butter churn & make the butter. Boy does home made butter taste good.

Old Milk Shed belongs to the following groups:

Wonderful capture Gail and yes I can remember sitting stirring cream to make butter as a child and hated it because my arm used to get tired and Dad had a milk separator and used to milk our own cow to make the butter. I couldn’t agree more home made butter tastes so much better. O how these wonderful captures bring back so many memories.

Nice shot Gail. Did you break into this one too as a child? LOL. Perhaps leave tracks to make it look like it was a dog. LOL.

Wow crazy contrast! Well done in dealing with so many highlights and so many dark shadows in a high key result, has the effect of rumpled cloth at a distance, very nice.

There were lots of shadows. Wasn’t sure if I overdid it though. Thanks.
