David Manuel

Hi – I’m Dave, 36, British guy – living in Australia since 2008. I work in a video games company as a Project Manager. I have an animation background in videogames but nowadays I try to spend my spare time oil painting and doing vector graphic cartoons when I can.

Stuff I’m into -

*Art (from Impressionism to Pop Art – particularly like the Expressionists)

*Politics (Generally I’m a liberal – free-trade, less constraints on people socially etc but believe in tougher sentences for those who break the law in violent cases)

*Boardgames (yep – getting geekier – love those Euro strategy games like Carcassone, Settlers, Puerto Rico and my favourite PowerGrid)

*Music
Particularly like female singer song writers – Tori Amos, Suzanne Vega, Alanis Morrisette, Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne and my all time favourite – Kate Bush. + like bands like Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac. Yes MOR – but I like it:)

*Films
Emperor’s New Groove, Star Wars (original trilogy); Schlinder’s List, LOTR, Hot Fuzz

*Videogames
Pikmen, Windwaker, Gears of War, Lords of Midnight (Speccy!); Dungeon Keeper and anything with world domination!
