A Promise

My voice is not a new voice,
But one that has gone on forever.
I have spoken to you before
And we have held hands under the moonlight.
We’ve climbed the mountains of time
And we’ve made many promises before.
We’ve swam in the oceans
And drank sweet milk
With bread drenched in honey.
Our words have life
And a promise is truly forever.
Let us speak kindly to one another
With thoughtful hearts
And meaningful words.
My voice is not a new voice,
But one that has gone on forever.
I have spoken to you before
And we have held hands under the moonlight.
We’ve climbed the mountains of time
And we’ve made many promises before.
We’ve swam in the oceans
And drank sweet milk
With bread drenched in honey.
Our words have life
And a promise is truly forever.
