wishing all you fathers out there many blessings…
those of you who know the power of your love, it changes the world
one heart at a time…
there was never another relationship sweeter than that shared with my father
but he was also one that lived his life with great respect and love for others
…having lost everything in his life (declared a vegetable after a car accident left him in a coma, crippled and a steel plate in his head- but miraculously he recovered – giving us all the gift of knowing the power of the human spirit to overcome through love)
he knew and shared what was most important in this world (although, not without his faults & struggles)
LOVE, LIGHT and holding onto that INNER CHILD
for me, that means remembering our birth, innocent into this world, filled with awe and fascination, and an unending joy and love for others and the discovery of the world around us, appreciation for every little thing that so many take for granted.
on this day i share with you a poem that i wrote, which were actual words spoken to me during a phone conversation from my father, entitled appropriately, From my Father
