This is a super macro of a water droplet sitting in moss. My first attempt at water droplet photography, I’m pretty happy with the result. Looks better enlarged.

Absolutely gorgeous work Gabe, Love it. How’s the Pergola coming along lol? xx

  • Hi Pauline, thank you girlfriend! Oh I’m sick of painting, I’ve still got a few cutouts to do along the top beams before it’s ready to go up. Need hubby’s help, I’ve got to chainsaw half a tree down before we can start to put it up. We’ve got terrible wind storms here at the moment, can’t handle the hot dry wind. You wouldn’t believe it but today it was really hot with 28 degrees! Pretty weird for Winter?

Cool capture Gabe. I am hosting Zingers now but have been down in Melbourne visiting my daughter and family. Playing with the grand-kids really and giving the adults nights out while I play. Just got back today, so that is why I haven’t been posting anything new.

  • Hi Chrissy, so you’ve been away on holidays, sounds fantastic, hope you had a great time with the grand kids! :))

Wasn’t today warm? We got a really strong wind storm this afternoon, hope no more branches down, sick of picking up all the debris.

What a magnificent shot Gabe . So clear and a beaut colour.

  • Thank you so much Ralph, it was rather tricky but I eventually worked it out. Had a look at one of the girls on here and loved what she had done with the droplets so I had a go. Got a few good shots but this one was the one I liked the most.

I’m very happy with the result – WOW!

  • Hi Loree, thank you my sweet! Yes it’s pretty unusual coming from me but I wanted to have a go at this water droplet thingy! I might have another go tomorrow if it’s not a galeforce wind. How’s things? House still quiet or are you having wild parties?

What a gorgeous macro shot, Gabe …. superb!!!

  • Hi Brenda, thank you so much! This was my first attempt at water droplets, it’s tricky and I want to have another go today but it’s really windy here so I don’t think I could hold the water droplets?

    This is really stunning.

  • Awwh thank you my sweet, I’ve had another go today, it’s galeforce wind here so I was getting pretty frustrated as every time I had it set up right the wind would blow it to bits, grrrr! LOL!
