A Spring shot of my garden, this wisteria has travelled up the Norfolk PIne which is over 60 foot in height. It’s taken over 18 years to grow that tall but it’s one of the things I really look forward to flowering in Spring.

Ohhh what a beautiful image Gabe great capture

  • Thank you Maggie, I went back through my pics of Spring and found this one, I’m just sad I didn’t take a pic of the whole tree, it truly is a sight, it’s just on my driveway and the whole driveway turns purple. Last Spring we had a terrible storm which blew most of this off just after I took the shots. I didn’t last anymore than 10 days! Bit sad but hopefully this year will be longer.

It does make a beautiful show Gabe !
Hope it doesn’t do any damage to the tree.

  • Hi Trish, thank you so much. I don’t think it does any damage, it seems to be helping the old Norfolk tree, years before we came here the old tree had been burnt, someone told us that the old house had burnt down and damaged the tree. The tree arbourist said we should chop it down but it seems to have healed itself over the years. If it ever ended up falling, it would go straight over the house, it’s only about 6 metres from the loungeroom.

  • Hi Al, I thought it was out when you visited me last year? How are you buddy? Are you drowning?
