Two Plumbago Blue Butterflies doing the Tango!
Their little dance was all around the garden, I first spotted them on the Golden Duranta, then the Silky Oak, to end up here on the Flowering Plum Tree.

Great shot Gabrielle but are you sure that they are doing the tango hahaha. I saw a few of them as well and got only one poor shot as I didn’t take my macro lens with me.
Hehehehe! I’m sure! :)
Well I’m glad you left something for next time you visit! :) I’m mean geez Robert, you got so many beautiful shots, you have to leave something for the rest of us! lOL!
As the saying goes, it takes two to tango! Great capture Gabrielle!
Hehehehe! That’s right Margaret! :) These two were first on the duranta bush, then flew to the silky oak, then after a few more snaps there, they flew to the flowering plum. It was rather intersting watching them fly stuck together.
Beautiful insects. Love their name “Plumbago Blue.” Wonderful image too.jx
Hi Jesika, thank you! :) Yes I believe these are the last two butterflies in my garden. It’s winter in a few days and well the population of butterflies has totally dropped off. The night are now getting a frost.
I’ll have to wait to see what your beautiful weather brings for you! :)
