Hi Mary, I’ll send you the smell now! :) It was just lovely! I had this lavender growing up near the arena. I pulled down the fences as the horses had wrecked the garden up there. I was sitting taking these photographs and the horses kept butting their noses into my shots. Driving me nuts!

Hi Barb, thanks buddy! :) Yes it was funny, this lavender plant is up near the arena in the horse paddock and the horses just wouldn’t leave me alone. I had several shots of Sonny’s fat nose in them, then Oliver pushed me over. Such pains. The only one with manners is my baby girl Jewel. She stands back and lets the boys do all the naughty things! LOL!

Hi Rosie, awwh thanks buddy! Yes this shot is as is. I used my macro lens to get this DOF. I was just lying in the garden up near the arena. The horses just wouldn’t leave me alone. Got a few shots of Sonny’s fat nose through my pics. He wanted to know what treat I had hidden in the flowers? I couldn’t work out why they were so facinating to me. He nearly pulled the plant out with his teeth just to see if there was something for him. They’re funny like that. Very curious! What is it? Can I eat it?
