Song of Strife

A poem against suicide. It depicts the sadness of losing a loved one.

there is no need to feel lost my son
you will make me proud, my little one
if you are like the hummingbird
just hum along to the song of songs

No sounds of blood weeping, love
turning around inside of me
dreams of heaven sleeping peacefully
have you gone away, again?

you were not like the rest
no choice escaped your sight
have you passed the test?
what have you found in the light?

around and around

everywhere in the world I found
upside down and surreal sounds
I knew the answers were not real
In my sleep, I am still here

there is no need of this chaos
there is no need to feel discomfort
no need to shake in the summer
when you are growing stronger

I miss the ones that I never knew
I never knew you my friend
so take this golden coin
And promise me you’ll stay till the end

From across the universe
we sing confused refrains
singing a song to the children
who suffer the abuse of our blames
