Awesome capture Tim!!! Did you take this last night? I was outside late night looking up at the moon, and the clouds were flowing by it’s glorious glow just like this one. BEAUTIFUL! : )

You don’t need a sun filter to photograph Total luna eclipse, and a polarizer will work for taking solar flares.
