Our Little Boston Terrier named “B.B.” left us unexpectedly today…
He was an old soul, even as a puppy. Sometimes it is a dog that can make one ponder over the concept of souls and the ever after…
He will be missed…
May he live on in the sunsets above.
May he twinkle from the above like a star at night.

Eskimo Proverb

Thanks to Anna Lenabem for her wonderful sunset texture #168
Another texture created by me of the wet sands at the beach

Residing near the beach, I love to take my camera on photo-shoots when there is an impending storm, darkened skies, with the threat of rain or even snow! The shadows call to me and the fog is my friend. I hear sounds…yet most of the surroundings lie hidden from view. This allows me to escape into my own world, creating the next canvas for another of my “paintings.”

Such a beautiful tribute to your dear B.B. Yes, our pets really are members of the family, and we miss them when they leave us. I’m so sorry for your loss.

  • Thank you for your kind words, Celeste…I found out today from the vet’s techs that they gave him a special “treat” just before sending him on his way: Snickers bar, Milky Way, and a glazed Krispy Creme Donut… He loved his treats…but never got these…Made me smile at the thought…

Sorry about your loss Susan, our pets are truly family members. B.B. will live on in this beautiful image.

  • Yes, Otto, pets are truly intrinsic members of our families… We probably spend more time with them then anyone else in the family, other than spouses… I appreciate your kind words…

Bless B.B.‘s heart, as I’m sure he blessed yours. It’s so hard to lose a beloved member of the family; every space in the home echoes with the emptiness left when their energy departs. I’m so sorry you’ve lost your little pal, Susan.

  • Your words mean so much to me, Frannie…Yes…energy and an emptiness in the house…Even our other 4 year old Boston Terrier is finding it difficult… Sleeping alone now…sad… Thank you.
