A new camera and here is my first artwork with it… I am delighted with the resolution; however, it is now hidden within the various layers and textures…
I cannot help myself!

Rudee Inlet in Virginia Beach, Virginia is filled with boats and restaurants and fishermen… From beneath a bridge, I found this delightful vision of saltwater delight… A layer of mollusks lines the bottom edge.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Many thanks to Karen Burns for her texture called “Susurrus”
Also, thanks to Kim Klassen for her texture called “partings”
Two other textures were created by me

Residing near the beach, I love to take my camera on photo-shoots when there is an impending storm, darkened skies, with the threat of rain or even snow! The shadows call to me and the fog is my friend. I hear sounds…yet most of the surroundings lie hidden from view. This allows me to escape into my own world, creating the next canvas for another of my “paintings.”

This has a wonderfully crystalline quality from the light reflections – delightful!
