A large Maple tree in my yard, covered with Mistletoe, was struggling to survive just one more season… This art is in dedication to the tree that once proudly stood…

“Sing like no one’s listening, love like you’ve never been hurt, dance like nobody’s watching, and live like its heaven on earth.”
Mark Twain

Residing near the beach, I love to take my camera on photo-shoots when there is an impending storm, darkened skies, with the threat of rain or even snow! The shadows call to me and the fog is my friend. I hear sounds…yet most of the surroundings lie hidden from view. This allows me to escape into my own world, creating the next canvas for another of my “paintings.”

This feels like the personification of a spring morning – soft light and gentle colors are such a delight to the eye!

  • It is all I have left of the tree… Sadly it was taken down last summer…

    Gorgeous abstract, Susan

  • I love leaves on trees and then the mistletoe as a green smudge…It ultimately killed the maple tree, however…
