This was inspired by my seeing an old homeless man riding a bike in a bright Hawaiian shirt…the image just popped into my head.
I wanted to create a sense of the unexpected and that things aren’t always what they seem.

Digitally painted in Photoshop CS and CS4. Some textures of my own are overlaid for depth.
