Wonderful work, Ben!!
So beautiful !
there is something here in this tranquil composition that makes me feel something “special”…odd that?…why do I feel something “special” about myself looking at this composition….i know not why?…but i do know…..i do.
Very interesting comment Loui. I feel it too, and I felt it most as I took the shot. There’s a bit of “Matisse” or “Raoul Dufy” in this. A typical daily scene, but a quiet moment, where the dim light of the market emerges into the sunshine.
CONGRATULATIONS! THIS IMAGE HAS BEEN FEATURED IN ‘ENVIRONMENTAL PORTAITS-MELBOURNE’ February 18, 2013Sorry we don’t have a posh banner :P
Thanks Balletmum. ….don’t need a posh banner….
It’s really hard to pull off a shot where the main subject is cast in shadow and the supporting objects are in full light… but you’ve done a great job of it here. Terrific!
