great vision…like a forest dance, with symphony back up…very nice work Ben

  • It was pretty easy to get a great shot of this fern..it was just spectacular from every angle. Never seen one with curving leaves like that and the colour!- …wait for it, upcoming extra shot….. Definitely returning to it to get some more when the sun is out. thanks Richard.

Fabulous Macro Ben, something otherworldly about it!

  • There’s some really wierd trees in the Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens- went there for about an hour on Friday, definitely going back for a closer inspection. They have a Wollemi Pine which was originally thought to have been extinct for 70 million years but was rediscovered in a very steep inaccessible gully only a few miles outside the Sydney suburbs. The Jurassic before their eyes…..
This fern had bright coppery red juvenile fronds- the ones in this shot..Thanks Berns. PS: you are the sole comment on my photos out of the last 3500 views in the last 20 hours or so (no sales). If I find out it is scraper program, I’ll probably have to reconsider what I post on Red Bubble.

    Fantastic Ben!

  • Glad you like it. You’ll find this fern if you walk due south from the carpark for about 400m up in the fern gully area. Low lying fern with spectacular coppery new leaves.
