This shot instantly caught my attention – stunning shot Ben. Certainly surprised to see you took it in Chesser St – wow the hidden treasures in our own backyard huh?! The light is wonderful as is the bike in contradiction to the sign. Nicely spotted :)
On sunny days around lunchtime there is a lot of liht reflected off the various skyscrapers in that area- which makes for the interesting illumination of this shot. The scenes are also constantly changing- renovations, new signs, people and vehicles, condition of the buildings etc- we tend to think of these places as “permanent/ unchanging” but they are far from it.
The only thing permanent in Chesser Street is Woodhead Architects!
Great light and street image….
Great light and reflection here. I love how the bike messes up (for the want of a better description) the lines of the building, windows and signs. It adds contrast to this great image.
nice light and shadows :))
