WOW! Just: WOW!
Mighty fine comment Ron, thanks!

Now that I’ve lifted my jaw off the floor, let me elaborate. Awesome contrast. The fog is WONDERFUL! The depth excellent and the mood is nearly medieval! DUDE! This is fantastic!
Thanks Ron- its easy to do, just move in closer to the subject with the 50mm, undercrank it to ensure the sky is not blown and focus carefully with point manual focus- …well, except for the dangerous things underfoot and the imminent saturation.
Sorry- should have added: highest speed, lowest f stop possible, so one can hand hold it with antishake – I think this is about 1/50-1/80 sec. The key to this is also composition- to arrange the curls as I wanted in relation to the background, one has to move the POV around a lot, so hand held is easier than carrying/setting up a tripod in mushy terrain, although a monopod may have helped.
Impressive layers of focus and depth, and the background fog contributes so much to the mood. Super work, Ben!
