    I have to admit, I have a harder time “reading” children because often times the subject matter is too close to home. I’ll give it a shot though.

    In my somewhat shattered mind I see a child carrying worldly possession, and she does so with no complaints. The way she’s carrying them says to me she was taught how to hold a large bundle. Her fingers are crossed instead of her arms. She’s got a tighter grip and she can keep a hold better. I get the impressions she’s not the one running because she didn’t break training while in a panic.

    In short I see a photographer running past her keeping pace with the world. I see a child holding huge responsibility.

    She’s a beautiful baby, I’ll tell you that much.

    thanks Austin… it is hard-to-click and harder-to-look at later on click… you can’t just click a shot and go away… you feel like you need to do something for her and the like-fated kids… and there you are… not able to do much… but i will do whatever I could…

    Very expressive photo. It tells and ASKS very much. I feel concerned. This little beautiful girl is ASKING: Will you help me? Will you care about me and all children of this world? Will you love me? Will you give me some food, medicine and some respect, so that I can grow? Will I have some dignity in this world?
    Please do something.
    I get tears in my eyes.
    This photo will be featured soon, I think. It should.

    Daidalos… you have caught the very soul of this picture… it is indeed a visual story of the kids who can only dream of the basic necessities… Something has to be done… Have been trying to help them thru some Non-profit organizations that work for upliftment of such less fortunate ones…

    It doesn’t matter now whether it gets faetured or not… because at least one person on earth has gone down to very soul of the picture… and that, my friend, is you…

    I had to pause / interrupt my activities for a while after seeing this photo.
    I felt confused and I had to fight against my tears.
    This photo is a shock.
    This is not photography. This is apellative art at highest level / master.
    This is an impact.
    Oh my God.
    Still tears in my eyes.
    Not one or me…. Thousands, hundred of thousand will understand this photo.
    I am sure.

    Sorry for my too much emotional comment, my friend. I feel a little bit embarrased now. But this photo touched me so much. Yesterday I was so impressed and even confused, that I forgot to fave it. So I do it now.
