Technically not perfect by any means but I was just happy I found the sweet spot in this shot. Still learning with the Sweet Optic 35.

Image taken at Singleton, Western Australia.
As is from camera apart from a small crop and actions used for tones.

Better viewed large.

Trying to stick to my new years resolution of getting a bit more creative with my photography, thinking outside the box, thinking about light/shadows more or at least putting my new Sweet Optic 35 (for Lensbaby Composer) to use to achieve a more ‘incamera’ artistic feel.

(I’m liking that on the Nikon, the Lensbaby forces you to do everything manually. I often fall into using Aperture mode alot, but thats not possible using Lensbaby, everything has to be done manually).

Nikon D90
Lens – Lensbaby Composer with Sweet Optic 35

Made it to the homepage – yay!

Love it, love it, love it !
I’m also a Nikon girl, and I got the Composer under the Christmas tree. Can’t wait to get started – had a few tries, and it is a superb and fun challenge.
    Have a nice weekend x

  • Ooo how wonderful…..you will love it. Bit of a learning curve for sure, getting the sweet spot just right is still a challenge for me. The right light seems to help. Down the track look at the Sweet Optic 35 insert – it just interchanges with the internal part of the composer. It means you don’t have to swap out the aperture rings all the time, you just dial the aperture on the front of the lens. Bit easier.
Thanks for the lovely comment and enjoy playing with your lensbaby, can’t wait to see your shots :)
