The old chapel window at the now abandoned Fremantle Prison, I wonder how many found their salvation here …...

Fremantle Prison is a former Australian prison located in The Terrace, Fremantle, in Western Australia. The site includes the prison, gatehouse, perimeter walls, cottages, tunnels, and prisoner art. It was built by convict labour in the 1850s, and transferred to the colonial government in 1886 for use as a gaol for locally-sentenced prisoners. It closed as a prison in 1991 and reopened as a historic site. It is now a public museum, managed by the Government of Western Australia with daily and nightly tours being operated. Some tours include information about the existence of ghosts within the prison.

Hey Kim many thanks, I’ve only done the daytime tour but intend on doing the nighttime one at some point, they even have underground tunnels (20 metres below) tours, part on foot, part in small little boats. I’m sure it would be really eerie at night, maybe a few lost souls hanging around lol :))

Oh wow, how good is this! Love the mood you have created. Completely serene and slightly disturbing, and altogether haunting. Which is I’m sure is how this place feels! Your framing really makes this piece so great.
