Susan was born in Whyalla and grew up in Adelaide, South Australia. She has always had an interest in photography. Experimenting during a high school workshop later led to undertaking an SLR and darkroom processing course and her passion then started to develop around working and travel. In 2008, during an 18 month working holiday in the UK, Susan attended a photo tour in South France. She switched her new digital camera to manual and a new journey began.

Susan has travelled to many countries to explore and create her style. She has worked as an assistant on a 3 day shoot in Voiles de St Tropez and also achieved a High Distinction in a 12 week photography course through the open university of Australia in 2010.

Susan’s Red Bubble profile is intended to showcase some of her favourite travel landscape work. As part of her developing profile, travel will always continue to be a strong part of her photography journey.
