*the secret garden* by funkymarmalade
Clear

Taken at Newstead Abbey, Nottinghamshire, which once belonged to poet Lord Byron until he sold it in 1818 to his friend Colonel Thomas Wildman. Newstead Abbey remained a private country house until 1931, when it was presented to the Nottingham Corporation for the public to enjoy.

Fantastic atmosphere!!! I like the contrast between the spots of light and the shady parts!

  • Thank you Andrea, I had to tweak the levels a little to adjust the lighting slightly. Thank you for like this :)

Oh, it’s very good for my fantasy – and after the door, there lives my prince of dreams, waiting for his princess.
Very nice the playing between lights and shadows!

  • A ha! you have a wonderful imagination Susanne and I’m right behind you! :)
