This is Einstein the Praying Mantis, he was a 2nd grade class pet. The children were having a hard time finding crickets to feed him so they asked if I would like to take him home. They requested that I take a bunch of pictures of him too. I have tons ! I hope it makes them happy.

These are very interesting insects, they are almost like pets. They follow you around by turning their faces toward you and they like to crawl out of their little home and onto your hand. I let him out to hang out on some indoor flowers while I’m cleaning his cage.
