What a great piece, I can feel the slide…I used to have a snail club as a kid, we would go around the neighborhood collecting them and paint designs on the shells (in water color) then release them back into the hood..people would see these painted shells moving along the pavement and not squash them…thanks for reminding me of that….

Nicely done, a look of all things unfurling, plant or animal or all that, life in motion.

I’ve once seen two slugs make love…it was a real tantra lesson!
You ever notice those little “holes” they got on one side of their body right near the head?
Well, they approached each other on a ceiling of a little deserted and half overgrown house, then they produced a slime thread which served as a love swing on which they hung totally intertwined with each other, then they built a little slime bag and an inner worm like part of them left their outer bodies through that hole to meet in the little sack. After they were done they each returned to their outer bodies and went their seperate ways.
We had a camera with us but we were so fascinated that we didn’t even think about getting it out.
