Poser Weed
This is a weed that I found while on a nature walk with my girls, it was a path along side the river. I took some home to play with later but this shot I took while we were there.
I named it poser weed because it looks so fluffy and white but the white is just the clouds reflection on the river and the black was just a shadow from the shrubs…........all I needed to do was add a little dark to the shot and B&W….......fun fun fun ;)

Thank you Mel, I have to wait until next summer to get my hands on some more….....I really love these weeds! meanwhile I’m waiting for the children at school to bring me a praying mantis….he he he I’ve promised them good behavior tickets if they come up with the goods :)

Hot DAMN, that;s imaginative! I love the results, tho I’m not quite sure I understand how you achieved them. But there’s no way these or the process is “boring”. Quite the contrary, fascinating!

This is a great image, and your story lends the reality that we all, well almost all, as artist/photographers, find our art pieces just hanging around, just waiting for that someone, as you have, will come along and permatize their existence before their life is over.
