Now I know this is a stunning picture. Yes, great macro…but where on earth do you live to have a bug that scary looking living among humans? I’d carry a bottle of RAID with me if that thing landed on me. Gives me the shivers just looking at the photograph. I think that thing was made by U.S. intellegence to spy on the terrorists. Geez that thing gives me the creeps.

It’s a dragon fly……harmless too, I think they have some sort of radar like bats do because if they don’t trust you they can sense you so quickly and fly off but they seem to land in the same places within a certain area and when they get used to you they will let you within 2 or 3 inches of them. I had one hop on my camera and sit there while i was holding it.
It’s funny that it gives you the creeps because that’s the way I feel about spiders and bee’s. I have another one that’s eating a flying ant he he he wanna see ?
