FunArtist is British, has lived and studied in Britain, worked also in France and Nigeria, and nowadays lives in Finland.
For the last ten years she has been painting regularly. At first she mainly painted in oils and gouache . Then she became interested in water colour. Now she loves to paint in acrylics as well as watercolour ,but also tries many different techniques such as mixed techniques, and even beeswax.
Ruth has always been interested in photography too, and nowadays mostly photographs local land and seascapes on the South coast of Finland.
