is. like. speaking. on. a. broken. line.
I say my bit, but you. don’t. hear.
even though im. shouting. all. the. time.

i say the words they fly right past
Perhaps im not anounciating
or speaking too fast

or…

perhaps im tooooooo slooow,
And so you lose track. of what im saying,
And never, seem to know

or…

maybe you just don’t want to hear me
and ignoring me is the better choice
And so no matter how i mouth the words
You never actually listen to my voice

or…

what if you were deaf and i was dumb
And all you hear is my muted hum
And all you see is my moving lips
And all you feels is

what do you feel?

do you feel anguished as i do
Or are you sombre at being inaudible too…
Or are you content at ignoring me
And happy to leave this stagnant situation. be?

Because…

the more i wave my arms
the more you turn away
And the louder i shout
The more you say
And its a clash of words
And a clash of rhyme
And a clash of personalities
And a clash of our time….

Silence.
