My Space Invasion...

For our final school exhibit we were given the theme “My Space”. I decided to make it “My Space Inavsion” for my personal theme. I then took portrait shots of all the people who have invaded my space both positively and negatively. They are then displayed in a space along with and empty bird cage with its door open, a body cast with the freed bird on its finger and then the portraits (A4) all displayed around the space individually. Then the idea is that when you enter the space to view the exhibit, you invade my space with your presence. It also goes that my art, is my space, it frees my spirit ( like the bird) and allows me to be me in my space…

These aren’t all the portraits as there are over 30 potraits and the collage would be weird with all of them.
