Jimi Hendrix has long been one of my most favourite musicians. I did this Mandala as a tribute to his incredible and much missed talent playing Purple Haze as the backtrack…

The four guitars are four he played often and symbolize his connections with his gift.

The top guitar is divine inspiration entering through his crown chakra.
The guitar at his mouth is his connection to his throat chakra and the source of his amazing voice.
The guitar at the base symbolizes his connection with the earth – grounding his phenomenal energy (as above, so below).
The fourth guitar is bringing the music in through his ears – he must’ve heard stuff we can only imagine!
The mandala outer ring is the sheet music intro to “Purple Haze”.
