SEPTEMBER
ORIGINAL FOR SALE $1899 plus P&H
As I get older I find myself exploring themes around ageing. This illustration was created from a very long walk around Melbourne last September. I found myself wondering what he was thinking, what was his life like? Is he alienated from the city or simply apart from it?
From the original done in marker pen and gouache on mount board. This painting was selected for hanging at this years Camberwell Art Show. The original, measuring 97cm x 80cm (framed) is for sale. Please contact me if you wish more information.
Enjoy:)

This is awesome.

Thank You Jenifer. It took me about a month to do all the background detail in grey marker. I took over the dining room (well, the kitchen table LOL) and we ate scratch meals while I worked – it simply took over my life…

UnEasy
For me, he is busy at work, writing the narrative of his life, organizing his dreams, hopes, successes, failures, and asking himself “did I lead a good life?”. Perhaps, the cold facts of the narrative memorialized, he wonders what is a good life.
