..this is charming … and i do remember this Vincent’s image of himself from one of his paintings (well i hope – i have that right and it was not Gaugine’s image of Vincent – not sure now …. anyway … ) … i bet he would have loved the landscape :)
Hello Anna. Thank you for your comment and yes you are correct this was originally a painting by VanGogh called ’’On the Road to Tarascon". I have repainted the image and placed Vincent in Australia. This painting is part of an art work 36 foot long and it deals with my physical journey through life and as my life is not over I can and do keep adding to it. This is now hanging in my bedroom.
Idont even know what to say here richard…outstanding…..!
Thank you Sarah.
I see you like Vincent, too. And what a great job you did, Richard. This is great.
Hello Deborah, thank you for your kind words. Yes Vincent VanGogh’s work has influenced my own a great deal over the years. I once had a dream where I met him but I was so shy I could not talk, in hindsight I think it was more like a nightmare.
and what a road to walk on, addicting colors and such a happy message, LOVE IT
Hello Maggie, I am very sorry that I have missed your comment, thank you and it is nice to hear from you!.
