I think because of your interest in art that you will experiment by painting in different styles until you find your own way and approach. I suggest you look at an artist whose work you admire such as ’’Mattise’’ perhaps and study how he has created his work ( EVEN PRACTICE PAINTING HIS PAINTINGS) Regards Richard.
