    These are so gorgeous! You mean to tell me they were just laying around on the beach? I love stones too, propably not as knowledgeable as you are Bill, but I didn’t realize there was somewhere you could just pick them up!!!! What a great shot!

  • Thanks Joanne. These are found on most rocky beaches on Lake superior but lots of folks are looking for them. I also find them in gravel pits inland and from Minnesota to Iowa. These are very special stones!

    Beautiful. I think rock people find rock people.A few co-workers and i have rocks and display them. there is something about the colors structure and AGE that is fascinating. Thank you for showing them. Found adoozie in Swede Holloow St Paul MN near where i live.
