This bumble bee eluded me several times this morning but I finally caught him coming in for pollen on a rose in my front yard in Fort Frances, Ontario.

OMG!!! Sooo cool Bill!!! You caught this beautiful bee magnificently!!! Wow!! Love all the colors – the bit of orange on his back especially – all sooo vibrant!! I feel that I can almost touch the fuzzy hair on this guy’s back…the wing action you caught is truly fantastic!!! Nice work friend!! Very nice!!! :)) I can picture you now sneaking up behind him at this very moment!! :)) ♥♥
Well now. . . you just tickle and please me with such enthusiastic comments and Cheers. They are Sooooo appreciated. Actually I did not sneak up on this guy I just had to be patient and lucky as he came into this flower with my camera on the tripod. When I pressed the shutter I wondered if he would be sharp or another “busy bee blur”. . . I got lucky this time. . . :D
