This water clear, prismatic crystal of hexagonal calcite was collected by me in the Dalen-Kjorholt Mine at Brevik, Norway in 2006. The location in the mine where this was collected just sparkled under the headlamp looking like an ice lined cavern. Some of the finest and most diverse forms of calcite I have seen come from this underground mine.
