This northern red oak leaf gave me one shot as the sun hit it briefly on a late September afternoon near Fort Frances, Ontario. Shot off my Bogen tripod with an old Minolta X-700 and Sigma 70-300 zoom in macro mode on Fujichrome Velvia before digital imaging was popular. This remains one of my favorite fall images and has graced the cover of Seasons Magazine.
