wow i would really love to know how to take a photo like this!!! i am thinking of trying some photography at the diving open nationals friday 27th – sunday 29th. i was ment to be diving but im not due to an injury. its being held at the sleeman centre, chandler.
Hi Bec The shot was taken in 2004 at 1/15th Sec f32 1600asa 2.8 – with a Canon EOS10d camera and a 400 2.8 lense. It took a while to get into the right position with a black background and the image is shot full frame (no cropping or photoshop used) as I panned with the diver. Backgrounds are so important in sports photography and it can make all the difference having a good background for some images.
