Bribie Triathlon race start – 15th Feb 2009 – Taken with a Canon 5d mk2 in an EWA marine Bag with a 24-105 at 28mm on AV 5300th f7 on 2000 asa. Full frame and no photoshop.

  • Thanks – Yes at 28mm they were right on top of me. The EWA Marine bag worked well keeping the camera dry – while I got soaked.

    Now that’s what I call asking the 5dmk2 to perform! ISO 2000 and no discernable noise.

    Sorry didn’t think to read the details ISO 2000 and its smooth like that..is the high res version that crisp.

  • Hi – yes no noise now at 2000 asa with the 5d – I used to shoot everything at 100-400 asa but not now. I normally always manually shoot, but the light kept changing during this start so had to shoot the stills and video all on AV.
    This image is full frame and not cropped so yes the original is very crisp.
