    i was there wacthing this day. was this taken from the portal under neither the pool deck?
    my mum was sue stafford im not sure if you met her but i think you did.

  • Yes its taken from below the pool deck in the viewing porthole, with the Canon 5d mk2 taken at 24mm with the 24-105 IS lense. 1/800th f4 at 6400 asa manual focus. It was hard to predict where and when the diver would break the water and I had to work out watching the previous dives as to where to manually focus the camera. You also have to react quickly as soon as the diver breaks the water to get the image.
