CANYON SPINE by fsmitchellphoto

The Grand Canyon, Yaki Point, South rim, Arizona, U.S.A.
Pictures cannot and do not capture the beauty and grandier of this National Park. IT IS AWESOME, and I am happy to have seen it in my lifetime. When you look at this image look at the vastness of this canyon. To the far left there is a beige cresent, that is at the bottom of the canyon and the Colorado River. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing shot of this unique scenery!
And I agree with your sentiments. I had a once in a lifetime chance to visit and the views and images will remain etched in my mind for ever. But none of the photos I took were a fraction as good as being there.
