I threw it in the sea and it came back to me rusted and troubled.
You told me that you loved me
but I saw you running beside the sea
with her
hand in hand
toes in the sand
making memories out of nothing at all
It’s all I ever wanted
Would you dip yourself in my heart?
So I curled my salted hair
around my lingering fingers
and I cut myself on the rusted ring
from the sea
you gave me
nothing that mattered
more than this
that
everything
you gave me nothing
that I need.

How did you do it?
It was the visual work which first drew me to look, but on looking, it was your literary masterpiece that left me in awe!
It not only matches the image, an absolutely beautiful shot and fabulous find, but enhances and enriches it!

Great shot PJ :)
“It was always between you and yourself”...
It was never between you and them anyway”...
You are wonderful, you are thinking person.. This is all what you need.. The rest comes very easy to you PJ..
“Some people have eyes, but they cannot see,
Some people have ears, but they cannot hear,
Some people have heart, but they cannot feel”...
No matter what or who… But it matters “only to you” who you are.. You should be proud of yourself, DO PROUD with yourself. :)
Cause, from your poem, I do see that ;
You can see,
You can hear,
You can feel…
Isnt that you need this nothing else ? :)
May The Light-Love-KNOWLEDGE be with you :)

Why is it we confuse love with possession?
There for you when needed, absent when not so no interference, these are truly noble. But loneliness and greed become pathologies poisoning our own growth. The things we do. My own jealousies have driven away some. And, one former spouse grabbed my cock declaring “your penis is MINE alone”. When I mentioned that she told the same to half-dozen of my guy friends, she didn’t get my point.
Throw it away, if it’s truly yours it will return. Sometimes things come back seemingly corroded, but perhaps in their truer state, which was obfuscated by our fantasy.
Good image well captured.
