I Love Me as a greeting card design!! =D
In the background is the kanji “ai”, 爱 meaning love.. n_n"
There are some of us, who took it upon ourselves to do things for others. to help others.. to make others happy.. but we forgot about ourselves! we forgot that we need to make ourselves happy too. we need to love ourselves too. if we don’t love ourselves, who’ll love us?
i dedicate this to every one of you kind souls out there!! remember to always love yourself as well!! =D
i especially thank Karin who kept reminding me that i am love-able as well. bad history and with the kind of people i’m surrounded by, i was made to believe that nobody will love me for everything that i am. am made to realise all my faults and bad points and weaknesses. made to believe am ugly and useless. having depression doesn’t help as i view myself as nothing more than a mental girl. i totally believe that it’s impossible for anyone to really love me.
But Karin showed me otherwise. she made me answer and admit my pretty gd points.. and i realised.. hey!! i can be love-able?! am still trying to accept that now.. lolz.. it’s still kinda hard to accept, having been instilled those “i sux!” mindset for years… ahahahah.. XD

I’ve had problems with the way RB cards crop the artwork on my Snow Flower and I had to keep re-positioning the text so that it would look okay. If you look at my comments you’ll see the advice someone gave me about that; I hadn’t tried it yet since I haven’t had any other cropping issue since, but maybe you can try it out. This is a great card fa! Though yesterday I was really hating myself… (you’ll see why when you read your e-mail)

I used the facebook e-mail. what happened yesterday was crazy~~~~ you’ll see; and I forgot to mention that on top of that (prior to the worst part…), my laundry somehow fell off of the laundry line so I had to wash it again
__; and it was hectic enough getting back what fell because the laundry is hung in a lightwell, and to get it back required going through a different access and unlocking the door to the lightwell which used a really funky padlock.That is very original :))

Fa, it’s fantastic! I love it…
the only thing i would advise you is to dispense with the black border completely….
it’s just that with the cards the borders are notoriously difficult to get right, and it’s a bit unreliable…can you stretch or just resize it up a little to do away with the black border?
It does look really good with it, but always there will be a problem with it cropping it
unevenly. It works okay with a bit of shadow on the edges or just one or two sides
with a border, but very difficult to have an exact frame come out printed perfectly by RB
on all sides…it’s not your fault in any way, it’s an anomoly that RB has with the card
printing to do with the ‘bleed’….But i love, love, love , LOVE it and the Kanji is a great idea
and looks so fabulous there in the background..

Thank you, Karin!! i removed the border.. i so like it with the border.. i feel that it stands out pretty strongly with it.. i printed one for myself yesterday, with the border.. and liked it.. and that’s why i thought i’d upload it.. lolz.. wonder if Zazzle’s version will come out fine.. i did one with borders there.. i like it with borders!!!!
