There are some of us, who took it upon ourselves to do things for others. to help others.. to make others happy.. but we forgot about ourselves! we forgot that we need to make ourselves happy too. we need to love ourselves too. if we don’t love ourselves, who’ll love us?
i dedicate this to every one of you kind souls out there!! remember to always love yourself as well!! =D
i especially thank Karin who kept reminding me that i am love-able as well. bad history and with the kind of people i’m surrounded by, i was made to believe that nobody will love me for everything that i am. am made to realise all my faults and bad points and weaknesses. made to believe am ugly and useless. having depression doesn’t help as i view myself as nothing more than a mental girl. i totally believe that it’s impossible for anyone to really love me.
But Karin showed me otherwise. she made me answer and admit my pretty gd points.. and i realised.. hey!! i can be love-able?! am still trying to accept that now.. lolz.. it’s still kinda hard to accept, having been instilled those “i sux!” mindset for years… ahahahah.. XD

Fantastic Fa this is true for so many of us, we are so busy loving everyone else and it’s so important to give ourselves the love and respect we deserve. I guess if we don’t look after ourselves we can’t look after everyone else properly. You are such a lovely girl I’m so glad to get to know you.

mmhm mmhm!! do remember to love yourself as well always, Cate!! =D i think we all deserves a lil treat or two each time we helped someone and felt great helping. i sometimes do this and that for people.. and i end up exhausting myself.. i worked so hard to make people happy and somehow failed, then i became depressed myself. and i’d go asking, why can’t i make them happy!! and my friend told me, i have to love myself, before i love others.. aaaiiiiiiiieeeeee!!!! XD

Dear fa….I, too, do sometimes wonder if I love myself enough. I struggle with the lack of self confidence, my inner monster, and my hypocrisy that only I can see. Since I was very young, I’ve always tried to hide real me from others, trying to show only good things about me. I still might not know how to love myself properly, but I think that’s the issue that most of us are going through in our lives. And yes, we need to hear that we are lovable and we are loved by our beloved ones. It’s okay to ponder over the matter which is I think a matter of finding your(and my) true identity. After reading your description under this work, I feel that now I can fully understand your character “T.I.M.”. Fa, you’re not the only one who hasn’t been able to admit who you really are. Almost all the people think of the issue at some point in their lives, and I know it’s going to be a lifetime issue for me. Just keep your head up high and try to think that you’re the most precious being ever existed on earth whenever you feel down.
I’m very happy to hear that Karin have given you much motivation & inspiration! (Please include me in your group, Fa, hehe!) I really appreciate U for showing a bit about yourself. It’s something that I haven’t dared to do yet. Hope someday I would be able to open up and share my stories with my zazzle(&RB) friends too! aha.. i can’t help but pour out everything about myself into Tim.. he’s a representation of inner me. Something i can’t truly express out front, cos the people around me won’t listen or won’t believe.. i think it’s normal, to want to hide our normal self away from others.. sorta perhaps we fear rejection? that people might not be willing to accept how we are truly, and that’d be very very painful eh?
i think it is ok, to hide our weaknesses or secrets. it’s normal.. i think what’s more important is that we know what’s our strength and weaknesses, we make sure others don’t exploit us, and that we’d always remember to love ourselves – cos others might not always remember to love us.. ;D
