Took this during my FYP days back in school.. There are quite a few stray cats near to our client’s shop in the heartlands.. So i had to take some shots.. hehe..

Here’s a black-brown stray cat seating on a bench just outside a house looking kinda annoyed to me.. n_n” i tried to approach it, but it looks so grumpy.. Oo”

    i love kitty kats…this one’s a lovely tortoise-shell variety….looks like she/he really belongs on this timber bench…again, I just love the whitewash walls as a background…and you just happened upon this scene as you were wandering along? Well, it’s just a beautiful shot! :D

    there’s 2 types of the calico? one is the white/orange with bits of black….....then there’s the black with orange…and bits of white. lol

    oooh~ hehehe.. but how about just black and brown?
    i’ve seen quite a few like this.. well, not much now, after all the cullings etc.. but black and browns like this is considered a calico too eh?

    will let you know if i see any.. the number of strays has reduced quite a lot after all the cullings..

    somebody has put a lot of efforts/money into taking care of that! it’s a great thing to do for SOOO many reasons! .....less strays/less starvation/less chance of disease/fewer flea infestations….....

    mmhm.. tho i prefer spaying then culling.. it’s so cruel when they cull.. they’d catch the cats by force.. then dump a few into 1 cage, cramping them up, then kill them by god knows how.. i so don’t wanna know how are they killed.. =(

    hehe.. yea.. i guessed you might hav mistakened me.. hehe..
    the cullers here, cull and kill.. _” thank god there haven’t been any more since after the one done during the sars period.. sigh~

    i’d read not too long about about the leader of china sanctioning to allow the gov. to go in and kill all dogs if u had more then one? they’d go into the villiages at night banging pots and pans to make the dogs bark…then drag them out into the streets and kill them…....even grabbing out of the arms of children/owners…..they finally stopped that after PETA and other organizations came in and screamed. i know also…that Puerto Rico has issues with how to handle over abundance of cats…..shame
    and also? at least we’re no longer a people in fear of cats like they were durring the great plagues…........amazing how witchcraft somehow almost brought the end to several nations…....by killing the feline ‘familiar’.....

    i truly truly wish one day.. these people will be paid back for the cruelty and brutality they’ve shown.. i wonder if they know how ugly they are.. even if not in this life, i hope they’d get the retribution/karma for their acts after death.. sigh..

    This is a great shot. Very difficult to capture a cat of these markings. I have a cat that looks just like this. Have yet to capture any good shots from my camera.
