This European holly (Ilex aquifolium) had an abundance of bright red drupes. This is one of many fruiting trees at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary, BC. The fruits are rather bitter, and birds generally wait until the cold depths of winter, after temperature excursions below freezing have softened the flesh, before consuming the showy spheroids.
